Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework

Family Safety Victoria has developed the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework to ensure services are effectively identifying, assessing and managing family violence risk.

Family Safety Victoria has also produced a video to guide Southern Grampians and Glenelg Shire practitioners on the content of these Practice Notes.

Hamilton and Portland police continue to reach out to those who they know are at risk, in line with Operation Ribbon that was launched in April as concerns that restrictions in place because of coronavirus may make it harder for victims to reach out for help.

Also in Hamilton this week a repeat family violence offender was refused to bail.

The 51-year-old was the alleged perpetrator in 17 family violence intervention orders.

The alleged offending related to a number of incidents when the man stalked, harassed and threatened his former partner.
