Another 12 months
Southern Grampians Shire Mayor Mary-Ann Brown will continue in the position for another 12 months uncontested at Wednesday night's re-election.
The deputy mayor is again councillor Chris Sharples both continuing in their roles for a third straight term.
Mayor Brown says she is pleased to have the confidence of the fellow councillors moving forward.
Councillor Anita Rank has made history in the Glenelg Shire Council chambers the first person to be re-elected for a third consecutive term as Glenelg Shire Mayor.
The Portland-based councillor first joined the chamber in 2012.
