Drier conditions ahead

The weather bureau says the south-west are no longer under the influence of a La Nina pattern and conditions may be drier as we finish Autumn and head into Winter.

Senior forecaster Tom Delamotte says the last six months have been wetter than usual but that has now passed.

"A slightly higher chance than average of drier conditions for May and for June it looks like a similar pattern as well, so it doesn't look like to be a significant dry signal but slightly leaning towards drier than average conditions."

Mr Delamotte said.
