A hoon driver will face multiple charges after he was caught doing donuts and deliberately crashing through the gates of the football ground at Dartmoor.
Police were called from Portland just after midnight, as the driver aged in his 30s, continuously drove erratically in the area.
The driver had been doing donuts on the lawn outside the Dartmoor Recreation Reserve, and was then witnessed deliberately driving through the closed gates at the ground
The damage bill is estimated at about $1000.
The incident was witnessed by members of the football club, who were celebrating the club's 1979 premiership reunion at the clubrooms.
The man will appear in court at a later date.
