United Way Glenelg is asking residents to leave a positive message on their Facebook page acknowledging the energy, effort and strengths year 12 students have put in this year.

It hasn't been easy completing their final year during a global pandemic.

Execuitive Officer, Nichole Carr, says messages will be compiled and presented to Year 12 students at their graduation.

'"They need to know that we are 100 per cent behind them and that we thoroughly support them."

"The post is pinned to the top so people wont need to go through it and just leave your message there."

"It's fantastic that we've already received a message from from the Education Minister, Dan Tehan, and we are slowly getting people filling it up and sending all of there well wishes to our year 12 students across the Glenelg Shire."
