Funding for two major local road projects
The Glenelg Shire Council has gained funding for two major local road projectsm, as part of Round Two of the State Government’s Fixing Country Roads Program.
Council has received a $1.99 million share of the $70 million funding pool, for upgrades to Heath Road in Cashmore, and Bridgewater Lakes Road in Cape Bridgewater.
The funding would deliver much needed improvements for both local motorists and cyclists.
The Heath Road Rehabilitation Program and the Bridgewater Lakes Road Rehabilitation Program are set to be completed by June 2020.
