Police are investigating a break in at a Casterton Newsagency, that occurred late Sunday night or early yesterday morning.
The would be bandits stole Tattslotto scratch tickets and a full police Blue Ribbon Foundation charity tin.
The offenders gained entry to the newsagent by kicking in the back door, they found a safe, but were unable to open it on the site.
Crime scene officers travelled to Casterton to forensically examine the premises.
