Colin Littlejohn, Group Account Manager at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood said the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a decline in the amount of donations.
"Whole blood only lasts for 42 days so it's a constant supply we need all the time. And what we are finding now with the pandemic is that, we were fine in the early stages but people are starting to drop off a little bit with their donations. But Hamilton has always been a fantastic support for us for donating whole blood and we look forward to continuing the trend."
