The $30,000 Salt Creek Scholarship has been awarded to 19 year old Angus Campbell of Tarrington.

He was a School Leader of Hamilton’s Monivae College in Year 12 and maintains many other achievements.

Angus blew the committee away with his maturity, determination, resilience, drive and community spirit.

Angus aspires to be an Architect who designs buildings and spaces that benefit the community and the welfare of people.

The Scholarship will fund his residency at Deakin’s Waterfront Residential Campus.

This year there were 23 applicants from right across the Western District and 8 shortlisted.
